Start Right from Day One

Bringing a new puppy home is exciting — but it’s also when the most important learning happens. Our Puppy Training Clinic prepares you before or just after your puppy arrives, so you can start doing the right things from the very beginning and avoid creating behaviour problems down the track.

Unlike traditional “puppy schools” that run weekly for short sessions, this information-packed 3-hour course gives you everything you need up front. We don’t believe in waiting weeks to cover critical topics — by the time most puppy schools even mention separation anxiety (if at all), it’s often already been unintentionally created.

At TASAA, we help you set your puppy up for success from day one — raising a calm, confident and well-behaved companion who feels secure in every situation. You’ll leave with the practical knowledge to prevent common behaviour problems before they start.

Who It’s For

Perfect for current or soon-to-be puppy owners with pups up to 20 weeks old. Starting early helps prevent unwanted behaviours, builds trust and ensures your puppy grows into a confident, happy dog.

How It Works

Our sessions are delivered in a friendly, relaxed environment where questions are encouraged throughout.

  • Live demonstrations using our adult dogs and puppies in our Stay and Train Program to show key training techniques like recall, calmness and engagement.

  • Each participant receives a comprehensive clinic booklet covering all course content.

  • This is an adult humans-only session — please leave your puppy and young children at home so you can focus fully on learning.

  • Online option available for those unable to attend in person.

Course Fees

  • Group Course (3 hours): $350 per family (up to 3 participants).

  • Private One-on-One Session: $249 per hour for up to 2 adults.
    (All prices include GST.) We recommend leaving young children at home so you can make the most of the session and absorb everything.

Held at our Yugar Training Facility, just north of Brisbane in the beautiful Samford Valley
