How this course is delivered
This dog obedience training course is delivered by Dean Hansen, current Puppy Development Officer and Breed Manager for the Queensland Police Service Dog Squad and Nikki Bignell, with her diverse experience training and working with dogs for the last three decades.
Our Intensive Obedience Course begins with a theory session on Day 1, followed by a live demonstration where our professional trainer works with your dog first. This allows you to clearly see the techniques in action and understand how your dog learns before you begin hands-on training yourself.
The course features one-on-one sessions tailored to your dog’s needs, plus the opportunity to observe and learn from others. Held over two weekends, it gives you time to practise at home before returning for expert feedback and refinement.
Common dog behaviour issues addressed
Pulling on lead, reactivity, poor recall, jumping, barking, resource guarding, overexcitement and anxiety. We have trained declared dangerous dogs, deaf dogs, blind dogs. We help transform frustration into calm control through proven, professional training methods that build confidence, focus and reliability in every dog.
